Summary
Custom Bundles can be populated in various ways, either individually or in bulk by using a list of unique identifiers via Bulk Organise or from hyperlinks in a hyperlinked document using Linked Documents > Add to Bundle.
More information on how to create a Custom Bundle folder can be found here.
We've set out below how to populate custom bundles on an individual and in bulk basis, alongside how to manage the entries once added.
Populating Individual Entries
Custom bundles can be populated with individual entries in one of two ways:
Documents Page
- Select Document(s) to Add- From the Documents page, select the index entry of the original document you would like to add to a Custom Bundle.
- Multi Select - On your keyboard hold either CTRL + click to select multiple individual documents or SHIFT + click to select a range of documents.
- Add Selected Document(s) - Right click on the selected document(s) and select Bundle under the Add To section from the menu.
- Apply Add to Bundle - Complete the Add to Bundle window and press Add to Bundle to finalise the additions.
- Name - Amend the Doc. Name of the Custom Bundle entry, if required. Will be the original Doc. Name value by default.
- Pages - Add all pages or a page range to the Custom Bundle entry. Will be all pages by default.
- If multiple documents are selected, all pages will be applied by default regardless of the selection here.
- Bundle - Press Select Bundle to select which Custom Bundle the entries should be added to.
Custom Bundle entries can only be added from original documents - users cannot add a Custom Bundle entry from an existing Custom Bundle entry.
Document Viewer
- View a Document - From the Documents page, either double click a document entry or select a document and click into the preview window on the right to open the document viewer.
- Add Document - Within the document viewer, from the purple toolbar press the Tools dropdown and select Add to Bundle.
- Apply Add to Bundle - Complete the Add to Bundle window (explained at point 3 above, under Documents Page) and press Add to Bundle to finalise the additions.
Within the Add to Bundle window, the Select Bundle button will initially be greyed out and only become selectable once the background loading is complete. For larger workspace, this may take a few moments.
Populating Bulk Entries
Custom bundles can be populated with bulk entries in one of two ways:
Bulk Organise
The Bulk Organise tool can be used to take a list of unique identifiers and add corresponding entries to a custom bundle folder in bulk.
More information on how to populate a Custom Bundle in bulk using Bulk Organise can be found here.
Hyperlinked Documents
- Select a Hyperlinked Document to Add Entries From - From the Documents page, select the index entry of the individual document that contains hyperlinks to be added.
- Add Hyperlinked Documents - Right click on the selected document, press Advanced and underneath the Linked Documents sub-header select Add to Bundle.
- Apply Add to Bundle - From the Add to Bundle window, press Select Bundle to select which Custom Bundle the entries should be added to and press Add to Bundle to finalise the additions.
