Summary

When viewing a document, notes can be filtered by Authors or Note Tag and re-aligned to the right margin. By default, all notes a user has access to will display on the document and the notes will appear above the highlighted text by default.

Applying a Filter

  1. Apply Filter - When viewing a document, press Filter from the purple toolbar at the top. 
  2. Choose Filter Option - From the Filter menu, choose an option: 
    1. Authors - Tick the checkbox of an author of shared notes on the document. 
    2. Note Tags - Press Filter and choose a Note Tag from the Filter By Tags window. Press Apply to ensure the selection is applied in the filter. 

Re-aligning Notes

  1. Re-align Per Document - Press the re-align icon to either push the notes from above the text to the right margin or from the right margin to above the text. 
    1. Default Position - Notes will align above the text by default. 
  2. Change Default Position - From the Documents page, press the person silhouette icon in the top right and select Account to go to the account settings. 
    1. Change Dropdown - Under Display Preferences, change the Notes Display: dropdown. 
    2. Save - Press Save to change the default notes position.
