Hyperlink Overlay Tool [Appendix A]

Hyperlink Overlay is a tool which shows when viewing a document or transcript and displays the corresponding Bundle/Tab/Page value in the right margin of any hyperlinks created, for all documents within the workspace.

Hyperlinks must be present within a document in order for the overlay to appear.

We've set out how the tool will function and how it can be enabled below.

Overlay Tool Functionality

If your hyperlinked references do not include the Bundle/Tab pagination value, i.e. instead being Document ID, Exhibit ID or Magnum ID etc, the Hyperlink Overlay tool can be enabled to automatically include the Bundle/Tab/Page value of any hyperlink in the right margin.

The overlay does not change the content of the underlying document itself and if it needs to be included in an export, it must be toggled on within the Export settings window for each export.

Enabling the Overlay Tool

By default, Hyperlink Overlay is not enabled. The use of the tool is free of charge and the parties just need to send a joint instructional email to the Solution Operations team to enable it across the workspaces.
